You will join Finance BV as a Senior Accountant, handling broad financial responsibilities and working with the Finance & IT Director across Oostende and Deurne. The role emphasizes accurate financial administration, timely VAT returns, and reliable reporting to management.

Responsibilities

• Preparing the annual accounts and balance sheet in cooperation with the Finance & IT Director.
• Following up on outstanding customer invoices and managing accounts receivable.
• Processing and paying supplier invoices on time.
• Preparing interim profit and loss statements and financial reports.
• Monitoring budgets and financial developments.
• Analytically processing and interpreting financial data.
• Supporting the Finance & IT Director with financial analyses, reporting and projects.

Your responsibilities

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for a broad range of accounting and administrative activities. You will help ensure accurate financial administration and provide reliable financial information to support management.

Your key responsibilities:

• Processing purchase and sales invoices, bank transactions and financial journals;
• Performing monthly and quarterly closings, including accruals and depreciation;
• Preparing and submitting periodic VAT returns and intra-Community listings;
• Preparing the annual accounts and balance sheet in cooperation with the Finance & IT Director;
• Following up on outstanding customer invoices and managing accounts receivable;
• Processing and paying supplier invoices on time;
• Preparing interim profit and loss statements and financial reports;
• Monitoring budgets and financial developments;
• Analytically processing and interpreting financial data;

You will have the necessary autonomy to manage your files independently and will take responsibility for the quality and completeness of your work.

Your profile
