Job summary

VeroTech BV in Belgium is seeking an R&D Engineer for Semiconductor Inspection in a consultancy role. After training, you take ownership of inspection activities and contribute to multiple semiconductor technology programs.

You will collaborate with researchers, process engineers and external partners in a high-tech cleanroom environment, using optical inspection, SEM review and e-beam inspection to analyze defects and process excursions.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
Interest in semiconductor tech and materials research.
Experience in cleanroom, lab or high-tech R&D is a plus.
Strong analytical and independent working skills.
Excellent English communication required.

Responsibilities

Perform inspection, review and characterization on semiconductor wafers.
Analyze defects and inspection results to support R&D projects.
Use inspection and metrology platforms such as optical, SEM, e-beam and data analysis tools.
Support development and optimization of inspection recipes and methodologies.
Communicate results and document findings in project meetings.
