Elia Group in Brussels is seeking a Secure Environment System Support Engineer to join the IT-TI Data & App Support team. You will deploy in-house applications on Windows IIS/SQL, and expand Linux deployment knowledge to secure environments.

The role requires experience with Active Directory, identity providers, and 2nd/3rd line support. You will participate in a 24/7 duty rotation and contribute to robust, secure infrastructures.

Qualifications

• Proven recent experience in supporting Applications on Linux RedHat
• Proven recent expert experience with Windows Server (2012-2022) (>10 years)
• Proven knowledge of IIS management and web site deployments
• Knowledge of PowerShell and scripting
• Understanding of firewalls and load balancing concepts; DevOps/CI/CD experience is a plus

Responsabilités

• Assist on day-to-day deployment of in-house apps in acceptance & production (Windows IIS & SQL)
• Assist on application server architecture for deployment of new apps
• Work with Active Directory and identity providers (ADFS 2019+) for auth requirements
• Interface with IT clients and provide second-line troubleshooting
• Configure F5 load balancing VIPs for web apps
• Support core apps: RabbitMQ, Redis Cache; learn related technologies as needed
• Maintain operating/installation documentation
• Participate in 24/7 duty on a 1-in-6 weeks cycle
