Job summary

A not-for-profit energy regulatory association is seeking a CEER Secretary General based in Brussels. This role involves leading the Secretariat, managing staff, and advocating regulatory policies. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in energy regulation, strong leadership skills, and a relevant honours degree. The position offers a salary between €105,000 and €115,000 gross per annum, with a start date ideally in January 2024.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in energy regulatory office or not-for-profit environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of competitive energy wholesale and retail markets.
• Ability to manage external events, budgets, and IT facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Secretariat's staff and operations.
• Advise on CEER energy regulatory policy priorities.
• Communicate and advocate CEER policy positions externally.
