Kuehne+Nagel Antwerp is seeking an Operational Care Specialist to own the full export process for reefer sea freight, from booking to invoicing, ensuring compliant, high-quality transport solutions.

You will coordinate bookings, enter shipment data, prepare documents, and collaborate with Customer Care and Customs teams to optimize efficiency and service quality.

Qualifications

• Background in freight forwarding, gained through studies or work experience.
• Experience in sea freight is preferred; reefer or healthcare/pharma shipments is a strong plus.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage workload and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Performance-driven mindset with strong attention to detail and a structured, reliable way of working.
• Fluency in English is essential; Dutch is desirable, French is an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate reefer export shipments end-to-end, managing the full operational process to ensure timely and cost-effective transport execution.
• Confirm and manage bookings with carriers and partners, acting as the central point of operational coordination.
• Enter and maintain shipment data in the system, ensuring data quality and transparency.
• Prepare, review and manage all shipping documents, including Bills of Lading, packing lists and certificates of origin.
• Ensure full compliance with international, local and port-specific regulations, collaborating closely with Customer Care and Customs teams.
• Optimize the operational and administrative processes and work cross-functionally to continuously improve efficiency.

As a member of the Freight Forwarding team Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in transporting goods, optimising processes, and fulfilling our customers' promises. For our Sea Logistics team in Antwerp, we are looking for a motivated Operational Care Specialist who takes ownership of the full operational export process for reefer sea freight shipments, from booking to invoicing. In this role, you play a key part in delivering reliable, compliant, and high-quality transport solutions to our customers.
