Kuehne+Nagel Antwerp Sea Logistics is seeking a motivated Sea Freight Coordinator to take ownership of the full export process—from booking to invoicing. You will deliver reliable and compliant transport solutions while coordinating with carriers, customers, and internal teams.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate export shipments end-to-end, ensuring timely transport execution.
• Confirm and manage bookings with carriers and partners as the central coordinator.
• Enter and maintain shipment data in the system with high data quality.
• Prepare and review Bills of Lading, packing lists and origin certificates.
• Ensure compliance with international, local and port regulations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve operational efficiency.

For our Sea Logistics team in Antwerp, we are looking for a motivated Sea Freight Coordinator who takes ownership of the full operational export process, from booking to invoicing. In this role, you play a key part in delivering reliable, compliant, and high-quality transport solutions to our customers.

How you create impact

• Coordinate export shipments end-to-end, managing the full operational process to ensure timely and cost-effective transport execution
• Confirm and manage bookings with carriers and partners, acting as the central point of operational coordination
• Enter and maintain shipment data in the system, ensuring data quality and transparency
• Prepare, review and manage all shipping documents, including Bills of Lading, packing lists and certificates of origin
• Ensure full compliance with international, local and port-specific regulations, collaborating closely with Customer Care and Customs teams
• Optimize the operational and administrative processes and work cross-functionally to continuously improve efficiency

What we would like you to bring

• Background in freight forwarding, gained through relevant studies, work experience, or ideally a combination of both
• First experience in sea freight, ideally in export
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to keep an overview, manage workload effectively, and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
• A performance-driven and ambitious mindset, combined with strong attention to detail and a structured, reliable way of working
• Fluency in English is essential; Dutch is desirable, while French is an advantage
