ENGIBEX supports a Belgian client in the design and manufacturing of infrared sensors and camera systems. You will join the Production Engineering team to scale and optimize manufacturing, bridging R&D and series production in a high-precision, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Master-level engineering degree with production/industrial focus.
• Affinity for production environments on shop floor and in lab.
• Strong, structured, data-driven problem solving and root-cause orientation.
• Experience or interest in optical systems, photonics, or precision mechanics.

Responsabilités

• Industrialization: translate R&D processes into robust production processes for infrared sensor and camera assemblies.
• Capacity scaling: analyze current production flows, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to increase throughput.
• Automation: define and implement automation solutions for assembly, testing, or inspection steps—from concept through deployment.
• Quality assurance: design and implement process controls, inspection methods, and SPC to ensure consistent product quality.
• Clean room operations: develop and maintain process procedures for assembly and testing in ISO-class clean rooms.
• Optical distortion testing: set up and industrialize an optical distortion measurement process for IR camera assemblies; select method and automate analysis.
• Data & reporting: use Python scripts and data tools to monitor KPIs, analyze yield, and support root cause investigations.
• Cross-functional collaboration: work with R&D, quality, and supply chain; document processes and transfer knowledge to operators and technicians.
