ENGIBEX, a Belgian engineering consulting firm, seeks an Embedded Software Engineer to contribute to unit firmware and flight software across various units such as on-board computers, radios, cameras and sensors. You will work in an agile team with hardware, FPGA and optional RF/optical engineers, delivering high quality software through the full development lifecycle.

The role emphasizes collaboration, strong debugging, and the ability to read schematics and layouts, with English proficiency

Qualifications

• Degree in CS or aerospace engineering or related field.
• Experience with C and Python in embedded software.
• Embedded Linux experience.
• RTOS experience, preferably FreeRTOS.
• Strong debugging and unit testing skills.
• Experience with full software development lifecycle.
• Ability to read schematics and layouts.
• Experience with digital hardware testing (JTAG, oscilloscope).
• Familiarity with Buildroot, UBoot, Zynq, cmake.
• Knowledge of CAN, I2C, SPI, UART.
• Good communication and English.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with hardware and system engineers to design and build unit firmware and high level satellite applications.
• Produce high quality flight SW components following the development flow (requirements engineering, design, implementation, testing and maintenance).
• Support the definition of the satellite system architecture.
