Optimus Search is seeking an Automation Engineer to support and improve automated production systems near Turnhout, Belgium. The role focuses on ensuring reliability, efficiency, and compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will work with Rockwell PLCs, TI A Portal, HMIs, and SCADA systems while advancing continuous improvement initiatives in a modern production setting.

Qualifications

• Strong PLC programming experience with Rockwell and TIA Portal.
• Experience with HMIs and control system architecture.
• Knowledge of Ethernet/IP, ProfiNet, Modbus networking.
• Ability to read electrical drawings.
• Experience in manufacturing environments; GMP/HACCP knowledge is a plus.

Responsabilités

• PLC programming, testing, and troubleshooting of control systems.
• Supporting and maintaining automated production lines.
• Fault finding across electrical and control systems.
• Working with SCADA systems to monitor performance and identify improvements.
• Supporting continuous improvement and process optimisation initiatives.
