Qualifications

• 5+ years in software/systems architecture for satellite environments.
• Experience designing architectures for complex embedded systems.
• Familiarity with RTOS (prefer FreeRTOS) and embedded Linux.
• Experience with CAN, SPI, I2C, UART or similar protocols.
• Strong collaboration across hardware and software domains.
• Ability to define standards, interfaces and architectural frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end satellite software architecture across flight and embedded systems.
• Define software standards, interfaces and reusable frameworks.
• Collaborate with software, electronics, FPGA and systems teams to translate requirements.
• Lead architecture trade-offs on performance, reliability and resources.
• Drive software roadmap and continuous improvement from operations feedback.
