Aerospacelab, Inc. is seeking a Satellite Cybersecurity Architect to define and own the security architecture for our satellite platforms. You will lead secure development practices for on‑board software and units, and own cryptographic key management across the fleet.

Collaborate with hardware and software engineers, operators, and V&V teams to ensure security is built in from the start and remains verifiable in orbit. English fluency and autonomous collaboration are essential for success.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Hands-on embedded security with C and Python.
• Experience with secure boot, trusted execution, or hardware root-of-trust.

Responsabilités

• Define and own satellite cybersecurity architecture across platforms.
• Establish secure coding standards and development best practices.
• Design and implement secure boot and trusted execution for on-board units.
• Manage cryptographic key generation, distribution, storage, rotation, and revocation.
• Perform threat modeling and security risk assessments on satellite software and links (TT&C).
• Ensure security requirements are traceable and verifiable through V&V.
