Engibex is seeking a Satellite Software Architect to define and own the software architecture across satellite platforms, from flight software to unit-level firmware in radios, cameras and sensors.

You will bridge unit development teams with the satellite-level system architecture, ensuring design consistency, traceability, and reusable building blocks for future missions. The role requires leadership, strong embedded skills, and fluency in English to coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Aerospace or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong embedded software development experience with C and Python.
• Proven ability to design architectures for complex embedded systems.
• Experience with FreeRTOS and Linux-based environments.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and architectural decision-making.

Responsabilités

• Define end-to-end satellite software architecture across flight and unit-level software.
• Establish design standards, interfaces, and reusable building blocks.
• Translate system requirements into software designs and review code.
• Lead architectural trade-off studies and design reviews.
• Coordinate with operators, V&V, and AOCS teams for automation opportunities.
• Maintain and evolve the software roadmap in line with company goals.
