Job summary

ictjob.be IT Analyst role focuses on providing functional analysis for energy projects, collecting and refining business needs, and bridging business with engineering teams in a hands-on environment.

You will develop Python prototypes, perform data analysis, and draft functional requirements while coordinating stakeholder workshops and ensuring successful deployments and post-release monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Organise and facilitate workshops and backlog refinement sessions; review existing documentation to extract business requirements.
• Develop Python prototypes and perform exploratory data analysis to validate proposed approaches.
• Draft feature-level functional requirements, use cases and process descriptions; author test scenarios.
• Serve as the intermediary between business stakeholders and development teams; run meetings, coach users and support adoption and change activities.
• Plan and execute integration tests and support business users during user acceptance testing.
• Track delivery progress against timelines, raise risks, and monitor production systems after release, performing corrective or maintenance tasks as needed.

Provide functional analysis for a designated part of a project in the energy domain: collect and refine business needs, run stakeholder workshops, build Python prototypes and analyse datasets, produce functional requirements and test artefacts, coordinate integration and acceptance activities, bridge business and engineering teams, and oversee deployments and post-release monitoring.
