SquareDev BV, part of the QnR Group, is seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead a large SAP implementation for a European Union institution. You will manage the project end-to-end, keeping it on time, on budget, and within scope, coordinating with business users, technical experts and external suppliers.

The ideal candidate has hands-on SAP project delivery experience (S/4HANA and Fiori), strong leadership, and a proven track record in complex IT programmes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or 4-year university degree is mandatory.
• At least 1 year of experience with financial/accounting consultancy or financial IT systems.
• Proven experience managing complex IT projects or programmes.
• Hands-on SAP project delivery experience (S/4HANA and Fiori).
• Experience leading teams and risk management.
• Familiarity with project management methods (SAP Activate, SAFe, or PM2).
• Proficient with MS Project and multilingual communication.

Role overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead a large SAP implementation project for a European Union institution. You will manage the project from start to finish, keeping it on time, on budget and within scope, while working closely with business teams, technical experts and external suppliers to deliver a successful SAP S/4HANA and Fiori transformation.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Manage SAP projects from start to finish, keeping them on time, on budget and within the agreed scope.
• Build project plans, define tasks, and organise the resources needed to get the work done.
• Assign roles and responsibilities to team members.
• Lead and motivate the project team through complex, multi-system SAP projects.
• Track progress against the plan and budget, and report results clearly and on time.
• Communicate with business users, partners, and external suppliers to keep everyone aligned.
• Spot risks and issues early and work with management to solve them.
• Manage changes to project scope, and capture lessons learned for future projects.
• Follow the relevant corporate and project governance policies and procedures.

To excel in this role, you\'ll need:

• University Master\'s degree (or a university-level degree of at least 4 years) is mandatory.
• At least 1 year of experience with financial/accounting consultancy or financial IT systems.
• Solid, proven experience managing complex IT projects or programmes.
• Hands-on experience delivering SAP projects, ideally including S/4HANA and Fiori implementations.
• Experience leading and managing teams.
• Good understanding of project management methods (such as SAP Activate, SAFe, or PM2) and risk management techniques.
• Comfort using project management tools such as MS Project.
• The ability to stay calm and effective under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, and confidence working in multilingual meetings.

Nice to have:

• Experience with SAP HANA, S/4HANA, or Fiori implementations.
• Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager.
• Familiarity with SAP modules such as MM, FI, CO, FM, AA (Asset Accounting), PM (Plant Maintenance), PS, SD, or ECCS, SAP Cash Management, BPC, or Disclosure Management.
• Understanding of accounting and financial reporting concepts, and the ability to liaise with finance experts.
• A relevant project management certification (e.g. SAP Activate Project Manager, PM2, PMI, or IPMA).
