Job summary

Sopra Steria in Belgium is seeking an experienced SAP Integration Consultant to shape and implement complex integration projects. You will work across SAP technologies like BDC, SAP API-centric Integration, Event Mesh, and S/4HANA alongside non-SAP systems to deliver scalable, future-ready solutions.

You will lead engagements, collaborate with consultants and developers, and help clients define integration strategies and architectural decisions while expanding expertise within the SAP community.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in SAP technologies and integration platforms.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Integration Suite, SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, or comparable integration platforms.
• Solid understanding of integration architecture principles, including API-first, event-driven, and hybrid landscapes.
• Familiar with cloud integrations and modern middleware solutions.
• Able to translate technical solutions into tangible business value.
• Strong communication skills and client-facing experience.
• Own your work and collaborate proactively with colleagues and clients.
• Team player with knowledge sharing.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in an IT-related field, or equivalent experience.
• Fluent in Dutch or French and good command of English.

Job Description

As a SAP Integration Consultant at Sopra Steria, you combine a passion for integration architecture, cloud technologies, and digital transformation with a strong consulting mindset.

You analyze complex business and IT challenges and translate them into scalable integration solutions. In doing so, you work with technologies such as Business Data Cloud (BDC), SAP API-centric Integration, Event Mesh, B2B/EDI solutions, and the broader SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

You operate in challenging environments where SAP solutions such as SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur, and Business Data Cloud (BDC) are integrated with non-SAP applications, cloud platforms, partner ecosystems, and legacy landscapes.

Depending on your experience, you take on a leading role within projects and guide clients in defining their integration strategy, architectural decisions, and implementation approach. You work closely with functional consultants, solution architects, and development teams to deliver high-quality, future-proof solutions.

Beyond project work, you will have the opportunity to further expand your expertise within our SAP community. You stay up to date with innovations in cloud, AI, automation, and event-driven architectures, and actively share your knowledge with colleagues and clients.

Qualifications

Your Profile

• You have several years of experience in SAP technologies and integration platforms.
• You have hands-on experience with SAP Integration Suite, SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, or comparable integration platforms.
• You have a solid understanding of integration architecture principles, including API-first, event-driven, and hybrid landscapes.
• You are familiar with cloud integrations and modern middleware solutions.
• You can translate technical solutions into tangible business value.
• You have strong communication skills and feel comfortable working in client-facing environments.
• You take ownership of your work and collaborate proactively with colleagues and clients.
• You are a true team player who believes in the power of knowledge sharing.
• You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in an IT-related field, or you have equivalent experience.
• You are fluent in Dutch or French and have a good command of English.
