Capgemini is hiring a SAP BC Consultant to maintain and optimize SAP environments across on-premises, cloud (BTP) and non-SAP systems. You will work on implementations and ongoing maintenance in a collaborative, international team.

The role requires a 4+ year SAP project track record, strong OS/DB knowledge (Windows, Linux, UNIX; SAP HANA, Oracle, MS SQL Server), and experience with SAP BTP and S/4HANA. Fluency in English and French or Dutch is expected.

• Bachelor's or master's degree with 4+ years SAP project experience.
• Proficiency in Windows, Linux, UNIX, database management (SAP HANA, Oracle, MS SQL Server) and networking concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud and Hybrid landscapes (SAP BTP / IaaS / SaaS).

Responsabilités

• Maintain and implement complex hybrid SAP landscapes (on-prem, SAP Cloud, non-SAP).
• System administration: install, configure, monitor systems to align with business requirements.
• Performance monitoring to optimize efficiency and reliability.
• Security management: control access and protect against threats.
• System upgrades and patch management to keep systems current.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform root-cause analysis to minimize downtime.

Your Role

• You will be working on both implementation and maintenance of complex hybrid landscapes consisting of SAP on-premises, SAP cloud (BTP and SaaS) and non-SAP products
• System Administration: installation, configuration and monitoring the system, ensuring a correctly set up and aligned system with the business requirements
• Performance Monitoring: optimize system performance and enhance overall efficiency
• Security Management: implement security measures, control user access, protection against potential threats or unauthorized access
• System Upgrades and Patch Management: to keep the system current and running smoothly
• Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: diagnose problems, perform root cause analysis, and apply corrective actions to ensure system stability and minimize downtime

Your Profile

• A bachelor's or master's degree combined with 4+ years of SAP project experience
• Proficiency in operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux, UNIX), database management (e.g., SAP HANA, Oracle, MS SQL Server), and networking concepts. Practical knowledge in system installation, configuration, and maintenance (ABAP/JAVA systems, BTP, S/4HANA)
• Hands-on experience with Cloud and Hybrid landscapes (SAP BTP / IaaS / SaaS)
• A collaborative spirit & customer-oriented attitude
• A native speaker of French or Dutch and professional working proficiency in English
