Job summary

Econocom Benelux is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to act as a bridge between Sales, Finance, Operations, and external partners, ensuring a smooth lifecycle for sales-related requests.

You will provide administrative and operational support, manage communications, and coordinate with internal teams while adhering to structured procedures. The role requires 2+ years in sales support and proficiency in Dutch or French plus English.

Qualifications

• Experience in a service-oriented environment (banking/insurance/leasing or similar) is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for business partners and internal teams within sales support.

• Coordinate with Sales, Order Processing, Finance and Operations.
• Prepare and manage documentation using structured templates and procedures.
• Monitor requests, documentation, and order statuses, proactively resolving issues.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and company guidelines with accuracy.
• Support onboarding of new business partners with guidance on tools and processes.
• Maintain oversight of contracts, ongoing cases and partner communications.
• Identify opportunities to optimize workflows and communication.

As a Sales Support Specialist, you play a central role in ensuring a smooth and professional experience for our business partners and internal stakeholders.

You act as a key link between Sales, Finance, Operations, and our external partners, supporting the entire lifecycle of sales-related requests.

This role goes beyond administrative support. While you work within clear and structured procedures, you are also expected to think proactively, communicate effectively, and contribute to an efficient, service-oriented environment.

What You Will Do

• Register, process, and follow up on requests and cases throughout the entire workflow, including approval processes with financial partners.
• Manage communication with customers and partners via email and web portals, ensuring speed, clarity, and professionalism.
• Coordinate with internal departments such as Sales, Order Processing, Finance, and Operations.
• Prepare and manage documentation using structured templates and standard procedures.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing requests, documentation, and order statuses, proactively resolving issues when necessary.
• Ensure strict compliance with internal procedures and company guidelines, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Support the onboarding of new business partners, including guidance on tools, processes, and ways of working.
• Maintain oversight of contracts, ongoing cases, and partnership-related communications.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize workflows and communication.

What You Bring

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in sales support, administration, or a coordination role.
• Experience in a service-oriented environment (e.g., banking, insurance, leasing, or a similar sector) is a strong asset.
• A structured, process-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills with a customer- and partner-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently while thriving in a close-knit, collaborative team environment.
• Excellent knowledge of Dutch or French, with professional proficiency in the other language.
• English is an asset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
• No advanced financial calculations are required; a basic understanding of financial concepts is sufficient.
