Siemens Energy in Belgium/Luxembourg seeks a Sales Manager for Digital Grid Solutions to drive digital transformation of power networks. You’ll engage utilities, industrials and energy developers, promoting Digital Substations, Grid Analytics, and cybersecurity solutions.

You will lead commercial discussions, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and develop engagement strategies to grow opportunities in the grid of the future.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical/Energy Engineering or related field
• Several years of experience in energy, industrial, infrastructure, automation or technology sectors
• Strong passion for sales, business development and customer relationship management
• Good understanding of electrical networks, substations, automation systems or digital solutions in energy
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and stakeholder management with technical and executive audiences
• Fluent English; professional proficiency in French or Dutch is mandatory; knowledge of the second national language is an advantage

• Build and maintain relationships with utilities, TSOs, DSOs, industrial customers, renewable developers, and engineering partners.
• Promote Siemens Energy’s Digital Grid portfolio (Digital Substations, Grid Analytics & Software, Cybersecurity, etc.).
• Support opportunities related to grid flexibility and energy transition initiatives (BESS).
• Lead commercial discussions, coordinate proposal teams, and develop customer engagement strategies.
• Monitor market trends and CRM-driven pipeline in line with regulatory developments and client investment plans.

Job description As a Sales Manager for Digital Grid Solutions, you will play a key role in driving the digital transformation of power networks across Belgium and Luxembourg. Operating at the crossroads of energy and digitalization, you will support utilities, industrial customers, renewable energy developers, and infrastructure operators in modernizing their electrical networks through innovative digital technologies and advanced grid solutions. In this highly visible commercial role, you will identify new business opportunities, build strategic customer relationships, and position Siemens Energy as a trusted partner for the grid of the future. How You'll Make an Impact

• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the Digital Grid market across Belgium and Luxembourg.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with utilities, TSOs, DSOs, industrial customers, renewable energy developers, and engineering partners.
• Promote Siemens Energy’s Digital Grid portfolio, including Digital Substations, Grid Automation Solutions, Asset Monitoring & Diagnostics, Grid Analytics & Software Solutions, Grid Cybersecurity, and the Digitalization of Transmission and Distribution Networks.
• Support business opportunities related to grid flexibility and energy transition initiatives, including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and associated service offerings.
• Lead commercial discussions, coordinate multidisciplinary proposal teams, and develop effective customer engagement strategies.
• Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, regulatory developments, and customer investment plans while maintaining an accurate sales pipeline through CRM tools.

Profile

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Electromechanics, or a related technical discipline.
• Several years of experience within the energy, industrial, infrastructure, automation, or technology sectors.
• Strong passion for sales, business development, and customer relationship management, with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Good understanding of electrical networks, substations, automation systems, or digital solutions within the energy sector.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and executive audiences.
• Fluent English is required; professional proficiency in either French or Dutch is mandatory, with knowledge of the second national language considered a strong advantage.
