Job summary

Empiric is seeking a SailPoint IdentityIQ Engineer to join our IAM/IGA team within a regulated financial environment. You will design, develop, and support identity governance solutions across SailPoint IdentityIQ, collaborating with Security, IT Operations and business stakeholders.

The role requires 3–6 years of hands-on IdentityIQ experience, strong JML, access requests, certification campaigns, role management and SoD controls, plus on-site presence two days a week in Brussels.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years’ hands‑on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ in an on-premises/private cloud environment.
• Strong experience with JML, access requests, certification campaigns, role management, and SoD/policy controls.
• Strong IdentityIQ customisation skills using Java, Rules, Workflows, Forms, Tasks, and Provisioning Policies.
• Experience with connectors/integrations including Active Directory, Entra ID, JDBC, REST/SCIM, SAP, or similar.
• Good understanding of the IIQ platform stack, including Tomcat, databases, and SSB/SSD or similar deployment tooling.
• Experience with performance tuning, aggregation/refresh troubleshooting, and log analysis.
• Strong understanding of RBAC, least privilege, auditability, and IAM within regulated environments.
• Structured approach to troubleshooting, documentation, testing, and change management.
• Able to work 2 days per week onsite in Brussels.
• Dutch and/or French.
• IdentityIQ upgrades and patching.
• Exposure to Identity Security Cloud.
• Experience in banking, insurance, or another regulated sector.
• SailPoint IdentityIQ certification(s).
• Knowledge of PAM, SSO/MFA, or Microsoft Entra.
• Experience with CI/CD, version control, SQL, PowerShell, or scripting.
• Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments.
