The Safety & Environment Specialist will help draft and implement the yearly action plan and global prevention plan, support audits, promote safety culture, and drive improvements in risk assessments and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Integrated Safety or Social Safety.
• Experience in a similar role.
• A Preventive Advisor Level 2 certificate is a plus.
• Good knowledge of Dutch and English.
• Ability to work independently, with a proactive safety mindset.
• Strong communication across all levels of the organization.

Responsabilités

• Assist in drafting and executing the yearly action plan and global prevention plan, focusing on safety, health, and the environment.
• Prepare and support internal safety audits and follow up corrective actions.
• Support the external safety coordinator and track necessary actions.
• Engage employees and promote safety culture with positive communication.
• Initiate and monitor safety projects, including revisions of risk assessments and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Update procedures based on regulatory changes.
• Co-organize the annual Safety Day and monthly safety performance reporting.
• Prepare the Committee for Prevention and Protection at Work (CPBW).
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses and propose improvements.
• Conduct behavior-based observations in production.

Functie:

• Meewerken aan het opstellen en uitvoeren van het jaar actieplan en globaal preventieplan, met focus op veiligheid, gezondheid en milieu.
• Voorbereiden en ondersteunen bij (veiligheid) audits en het opvolgen van de corrigerende acties.
• Ondersteunen van de externe milieuco ö rdinator en opvolgen van de nodige acties.
• Medewerkers enthousiasmeren en sensibiliseren omtrent de veiligheids cultuur binnen het bedrijf, met focus op positieve communicatie.
• Opstarten en opvolgen van van veiligheidsprojecten , zoals een revisie van de RIE (Risico Inventarisatie en Evaluatie), LOTOTO (Lock Out Tag Out Try Out).
• Aanpassingen implementeren in onze procedures op basis van wijzigingen in de wetgeving.
• Mee o rganiseren van de jaarlijkse Safety Day, een creatieve en inspirerende dag die in het teken staat van veiligheid en gezondheid.
• Maandelijkse rapportage van veiligheidsprestaties.
• Voorbereiden van het Comit é voor Preventie en Bescherming op het Werk (CPBW).
• Onderzoeken van arbeidsongevallen , incidenten en close calls en voorstellen tot verbeteringen formuleren.
• Uitvoeren van BBO's (behaviour based observations) in onze productie.

Competenties:

• Een bachelor diploma in Integrale Veiligheid of/en Maatschappelijke Veiligheid.
• Ervaring in soortgelijke functie.
• E en attest Preventieadviseur Niveau 2 is een pluspunt.
• Goede kennis van Nederland en Engels.
• Assertiviteit om het veiligheidsbeleid uit te rollen en collega ' s op de werkvloer aan te spreken waar nodig.
• Je kan zelfstandig werken, hebt een scherp oog voor veiligheid en neemt proactief actie.
• Je communiceert vlot op alle niveaus binnen de organisatie.
• Je bent gestructureerd, nauwkeurig en accuraat in je werk.
• Je bent gemotiveerd, positief ingesteld en kan op een inspirerende manier het belang van de veiligheidsregels overbrengen.
• Een positieve, opgewekte houding is essentieel voor deze functie.

Compensation Range:

The pay range for this position is €49,900.00 - €84,900.00 annually. Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between58,650.00 to67,400.00 annually. Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.
