Absolute Jobs is seeking an experienced roller operator for asphalt works in West-Vlaanderen. You will operate the road roller independently and ensure proper compaction according to quality standards.
Daily duties include monitoring temperature, asphalt composition, and working closely with crew to deliver accurate road surfaces. You will depart daily from Oostende and operate with modern machinery, while taking part in maintenance checks and receiving opportunities for training and development
Qualifications
- Experience as a road roller operator, preferably in asphalt or road construction.
- Understanding of asphalt compaction and proper rolling techniques.
- Good technical insight and ability to work with modern machinery.
- Flexibility to work in different weather conditions.
- Fluency in Dutch or English and ability to reach the Oostende depot daily.
Responsabilités
- Independently operate the road roller during asphalt works.
- Ensure correct and even compaction of asphalt to required standards.
- Consider temperature and composition of asphalt and adjust methods accordingly.
- Collaborate with machine operators, drivers and crew.
- Monitor road surface quality and ensure work is carried out accurately.
- Maintain and perform daily checks on the roller and equipment.
