Absolute Jobs is seeking an experienced roller operator for asphalt works in West-Vlaanderen. You will operate the road roller independently and ensure proper compaction according to quality standards.

Daily duties include monitoring temperature, asphalt composition, and working closely with crew to deliver accurate road surfaces. You will depart daily from Oostende and operate with modern machinery, while taking part in maintenance checks and receiving opportunities for training and development

Qualifications

• Experience as a road roller operator, preferably in asphalt or road construction.
• Understanding of asphalt compaction and proper rolling techniques.
• Good technical insight and ability to work with modern machinery.
• Flexibility to work in different weather conditions.
• Fluency in Dutch or English and ability to reach the Oostende depot daily.

Responsabilités

• Independently operate the road roller during asphalt works.

• Collaborate with machine operators, drivers and crew.

Are you an experienced roller operator with a passion for asphalt works?

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced roller operator for our asphalt works.

What does your job involve?

• You independently operate the road roller during asphalt works.
• You ensure the correct and even compaction of the asphalt according to the required quality standards.
• You take into account the temperature and composition of the asphalt and adapt your working method accordingly.
• You work closely with machine operators, drivers and other colleagues in the asphalt crew.
• You help monitor the quality of the road surface and ensure that the works are carried out accurately.
• You work with modern machines, techniques and tools.
• You carry out daily checks and help ensure the proper maintenance of the machine.
• You depart daily from the depot in Oostende.

Requirements

What do we expect from you?

• You have experience as a road roller operator, preferably in asphalt or road construction.
• You have a good understanding of asphalt compaction and understand the importance of using the correct rolling technique.
• You have good technical insight and can work confidently with modern machinery.
• You are flexible and have no problem working in different weather conditions.
• You speak fluent Dutch or English.
• You are able to get to our depot in Oostende independently every day.
