Degroof Petercam is seeking a Risk and Control Management Intern to immerse in risk initiatives across Risk, Compliance and Operations. You’ll develop analytical skills, learn risk practices, and contribute to adherence to risk control standards in a dynamic environment.

As a Master’s student in a related field, you’ll engage in data collection, testing, and reporting while collaborating with senior professionals to drive process improvements. English plus French or Dutch is required.

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing a Master’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
• Specialization or coursework in risk management is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and French or Dutch.

Aufgaben

• Assist in Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) to identify risks across departments.
• Perform control testing to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls.
• Prepare summary documents, reports, and presentations for internal teams and management.
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Operations to ensure a common understanding of risk issues.
• Collect and analyze data to support risk assessments and control testing.
• Identify opportunities to optimize risk management processes and propose improvements.
• Present analyses and findings clearly to team members and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of risk assessment activities, decisions, and testing results.
• Engage in professional development to deepen understanding of risk management practices.
