Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of experience in retail network performance, expansion, or multi-site analytics.
• Fluent in Dutch and French; English for internal collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain understanding of the network footprint, including site-level dynamics.
• Monitor network KPIs, identify trends, anomalies and gaps.
• Combine internal data with external signals to explain performance and anticipate risks/opportunities.
• Evaluate current and future sites for openings, relocations, upgrades or discontinuations.
• Prepare clear business cases (cost/benefit, profitability drivers, customer impact).
• Contribute to dashboards, recurring reporting and governance recommendations.
• Support discussions around commercial and rental terms with stakeholders.

We are looking for a proactive and analytically minded Retail Performance Specialist to support a nationwide retail operator across a multi-site service network. This role sits at the crossroads of location performance, customer experience, and operational follow-up, helping the organization make smart, evidence-based decisions about where and how the network should evolve.

Your tasks and responsibilities?

• Build and maintain a strong understanding of the network footprint: performance patterns, local context, and site-level dynamics
• Monitor network KPIs and identify trends, anomalies, recurring issues and structural performance gaps
• Combine internal data with external signals (mobility flows, retail zones, accessibility, local demand drivers) to explain performance and anticipate risks/opportunities
• Evaluate the potential of current and future sites and support decisions on openings, relocations, upgrades or discontinuations
• Prepare clear business cases (cost/benefit, profitability drivers, customer impact, operational feasibility) to support governance decisions
• Contribute to dashboards, recurring reporting and recommendations that enable consistent decision-making
• Support discussions around commercial and rental terms in collaboration with relevant stakeholders

The ideal profile?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, with 5+ years of relevant experience in retail network performance, expansion, multi-site operations, consulting, or a comparable analytical role
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate numbers into clear narratives and actions
• Comfortable building structured presentations and decision-ready outputs (Excel/Sheets, PowerPoint/Slides, basic BI is a plus)
• Fluent in Dutch and French; professional working knowledge of English for internal collaboration
• Experience with location strategy, commercial real estate, or geomarketing is a strong asset (but not mandatory)
