Ghent University invites applications for an Assistant academic staff position in the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. The role combines research with teaching, with at least 50% of the assignment devoted to doctoral research and collaboration with international experts.

You will assist teaching in CSI-UGent courses, supervise bachelor and master theses in English and/or Dutch, and contribute to internal and external services.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field.
• Strong research skills and ability to develop them further.
• Excellent communication, social and didactic skills.
• Ability to supervise course components in Dutch and/or English (or willingness to acquire).

Responsabilités

• As teaching assistant, devote at least 50% of assignment to scientific research aligned with CSI-UGent.
• Assist in teaching activities for CSI-UGent courses in the Faculty of Economics & Business Administration and the Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences.
• Supervise large groups of bachelor’s and master’s students in English- and/or Dutch language assignments and theses.
• Contribute to internal and external services of the department.
