Universiteit Gent invites applications for an Assistant academic staff position in the EB24 Department of Business Informatics and Operations Management. The appointment is two years, renewable twice for two years, with the start date of 1 November 2026 at the earliest.

You will conduct academic research toward a doctoral dissertation, assist in teaching activities in Business Informatics, and contribute to the department's internal and external services.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required at start of appointment.
• Interest in academic/project-based research in Business Informatics.

Responsabilités

• Spend at least 50% on academic research toward a doctoral dissertation.
• Assist in teaching activities at the department, specifically courses in Business Informatics.
• Assist in internal and external services of the department.
