Siemens Smart Infrastructure is seeking a Substation Protection & Control Engineer in Belgium to design, implement, engineer and commission high voltage networks for power system protection projects. You will be a technical expert and main contact for customers, translating complex protection topics into practical solutions.
The role requires a Master’s in energy/electrical engineering and HV protection experience, with Dutch/English fluency and French understanding.
Competenze
- Master’s degree in energy, electrical or electromechanical engineering.
- First experience in HV electrical protection and control systems.
- Knowledge of HV and MV electrical networks.
- Experience with protection hardware studies is a plus.
- Fluent Dutch and English; good French understanding.

- Serve as technical expert and single point of contact for customers.
- Define and translate protection solutions through technical discussions with stakeholders.
- Engineer projects: concept/design, functional analysis, software/hardware configuration, testing, installation, commissioning.
- Provide training to customers or colleagues.
