bpost is seeking a Category Manager who reports to the Global Category Head or BU Head of Procurement. You will guide the procurement team and the wider organisation for the assigned category.

Using market knowledge and data analytics, you will define the category strategy and procure plans to optimize spend and build a capable supplier base for supply, quality, service, ESG, and cost targets. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering Finance, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in strategic procurement, category management, supply chain, or related role in a large company.
• Thorough knowledge English; knowledge of any other language is a plus.
• International experience and ability to travel globally up to 30% of time.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement a strategic vision and action plan for the relevant category in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Identify sourcing levers, focus on cost/value/risk improvements (TCO, ROI, ESG) and develop supplier panels.
• Conduct market and supplier analysis, define target supplier panel strategy, and evaluate partnerships.
