A leading technology firm based in Louvain-la-Neuve is seeking experienced Sourcing Category Managers to drive strategic sourcing for mechanical and electrical components. Responsibilities include defining category strategy, negotiating with suppliers, and managing a team of sourcing professionals. The ideal candidate has at least 10 years of experience in procurement and strategic sourcing, along with strong negotiation and management skills. Fluency in English and French is required, and proficiency with procurement systems like SAP is preferred.

Mission

IBA is strengthening its Purchasing organization and is looking for experienced SourcingCategory Managers, each responsible for one of the following strategic areas:

• Mechanical Components & Systems
• Electrical Components & Systems

As a SourcingCategory Manager, you will define and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for your category to maximize value, ensure supply continuity, and drive cost optimization while supporting innovation and sustainability.

You will lead a team of sourcing professionals and collaborate across the organization to ensure your category strategy supports IBA’s operational and strategic goals.

• Define and implement a long-term strategy for your category, aligned with IBA’s global procurement objectives.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities and key supplier negotiations.
• Build and maintain strategic supplier partnerships to drive performance, innovation, and cost efficiency.
• Manage and develop a team of sourcing professionals, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Deliver measurable cost savings and value creation, ensuring compliance with company standards and sustainability goals.

What we value

• Experience with direct material categories (mechanical or electrical components).
