Purson in Belgium seeks an experienced Procurement Specialist – Indirect Spend to drive sourcing strategies across a broad portfolio of indirect categories. You will negotiate complex agreements and build sustainable supplier partnerships to support ambitious growth objectives.

You will act as a trusted business partner for internal stakeholders, leading sourcing initiatives from A to Z while balancing quality, service, sustainability and total cost of ownership.

Qualifications

• Experience in strategic procurement, sourcing or category management.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously.
• Structured, proactive and ownership-driven mindset.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience within technical services, construction, industrial environments or indirect procurement is a strong asset.
• Professional proficiency in Dutch and English; French is a valuable asset.

Responsabilités

• Developing and executing category and sourcing strategies for indirect spend.
• Managing competitive tender processes and supplier selection.
• Leading commercial negotiations covering pricing, contractual conditions, service levels and long-term partnerships.
• Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into procurement strategies.
• Managing supplier performance through KPI monitoring, business reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identifying market developments, innovation opportunities and supply risks to proactively support the business.
• Collaborating closely with Legal, Finance, Operations and technical departments throughout procurement projects.
• Ensuring procurement activities comply with internal governance, contractual obligations and sustainability objectives.
• Contributing to the continuous professionalization of procurement processes, tools and supplier management.
