Mercor is hiring PhD-level scientists based in Belgium to help make advanced AI models safer by writing prompts in Belgian Dutch and evaluating model responses for accuracy and safety. No prior AI/ML experience is required—we will train you on the workflow.

You will apply structured guidelines to classify prompts, work with chemistry, biology, or related topics, and ensure responsible handling of dual-use information.

Qualifications

• PhD required or in progress in chemistry, biology, or related field.
• Fluency in Dutch (Belgian variety) and business-level English.
• Based in Belgium.
• Familiar with modern laboratory and computational techniques in your subfield.
• Sound judgment around scientific safety and dual-use information handling.

Responsabilités

• Write expert-level prompts in Belgian Dutch across scientific topics.
• Evaluate and annotate model responses for scientific accuracy, helpfulness, and appropriate handling of sensitive content.
• Apply structured guidelines to classify prompts and conversations.
