Mercor in Belgium is seeking PhD-level scientists fluent in Belgian Dutch and English to help make advanced AI models safer. You will write prompts across chemical, biological, or radiological topics and evaluate responses for scientific accuracy, helpfulness, and appropriate handling of sensitive content.

No prior AI/ML experience required; we will train you. You will apply guidelines to classify prompts and conversations, focusing on dual-use information safety, and work from Belgium.

Qualifications

• PhD in chemistry, biology or closely related field, ongoing or completed.
• Native or near-native fluency in Dutch as spoken in Belgium, plus business-level written English.
• Currently based in Belgium; role covers Belgian Dutch.
