Jobgether is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer in Belgium. You will own the reliability and performance of production systems, work hands-on across cloud infra, observability, and incident response, and collaborate with product teams to build resilient services.

You will define SLIs/SLOs, improve monitoring, and automate deployment safety. Expect to mentor engineers, design for failure, and drive observability and reliability across a globally distributed stack.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years in SRE, production engineering or backend engineering.
• Proven ownership of systems end-to-end from design to operation.
• Experience defining and operating against SLIs/SLOs and error budgets.
• Incident response for critical production incidents with improved practices.
• Strong cloud fundamentals including networking, load balancing, containers, Kubernetes.
• Infrastructure as code with Terraform or equivalent.
• Strong programming skills (Go or Python).
• Experience with observability tools and instrumenting systems.
• English communication skills, written and verbal.

Responsabilités

• Own reliability of critical production systems end to end.
• Define and maintain SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
• Improve alert quality and reduce noise for faster detections.
• Lead high-severity incident response with postmortems.
• Design and operate secure, resilient, cost-efficient infra.
• Perform capacity and performance analysis with load testing.
• Improve change safety with progressive delivery and rollback.
• Manage infrastructure via code, primarily Terraform.
• Develop tooling to reduce operational toil for teams.
• Conduct failure testing, runbooks, and on-call improvements.
