Jobgether seeks a Lead Software Engineer (.NET) based in Belgium to drive a major modernization of a legacy monolith toward microservices. You will own analysis through production release, shaping architecture, data strategies, and delivery discipline in a globally distributed engineering environment.

You will coach and develop engineers, coordinate with Product and Architecture, and strengthen process, quality practices, and team performance while maintaining strong delivery commitments.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering teams and 1:1s with career development focus.
• Strong background in .NET, modern web apps, and microservices patterns.
• Proven ability to plan, estimate, and deliver complex backend programs.

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end monolith-to-microservices modernization from analysis to production.
• Collaborate with Product and Architecture to review specs and estimates.
• Guide architecture across .NET Core, SQL/NoSQL, and frontend integrations.
• Serve as primary technical escalation point for backend challenges and migrations.
• Improve delivery practices with Jira, estimation, and process discipline.
• Support predictable releases and maintain production stability.
• Lead performance reviews, coaching, and career development discussions.
• Drive continuous improvements in engineering processes and teamwork.
