Jobgether SRL is seeking a Software Engineer focused on Python and Kubernetes to design and maintain open source operations software for production workloads. You will work across the Linux stack, building reliable, scalable solutions and collaborating with distributed teams worldwide.

The role emphasizes automation, testing, and operational excellence while supporting a fully remote environment with occasional team events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, STEM, or related field.
• Strong Python development experience and problem-solving mindset.
• Hands-on Linux systems administration, package management, and production operations.
• Experience with at least one public cloud platform.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes and containerized environments.
• Solid understanding of reliability, testing, and maintainable code.
• Interest in distributed systems and multi-layer Linux/cloud stacks.
• Strong engineering discipline, documentation, and timely delivery.
• Good organization and communication within a distributed team.
• Genuine interest in open source software and cloud technologies.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based operations software for Kubernetes workloads.
• Work across Linux stack including kernel, networking, storage, virtualization, containers, and apps.
• Improve reliability, automation, and operational efficiency of open source systems.
• Build and enhance monitoring and alerting for production operations.
• Collaborate with global teams and follow agile software practices.
• Share knowledge and coach colleagues to strengthen engineering capabilities.
• Contribute to a healthy, collaborative engineering culture across the organization.
• Participate in remote work and travel for global team events as needed.
