Job summary

TheyDo is seeking a Management Accountant to cover maternity leave from January 2027 to August 2027. You will manage day-to-day finance operations, including month-end close, invoicing, Dutch tax compliance, and cash flow management for a fast-growing, remote team.

You will step into established processes, own the finance function, and identify improvements. Prior NetSuite experience and a recognised accounting qualification are essential.

Qualifications

• Recent experience using NetSuite (within the last 4 years).
• A recognised accounting qualification.
• 2 - 4 years of post-qualification experience.
• Startup/scale-up experience (essential for understanding how we operate).

Responsibilities

• Run month-end reporting and bookkeeping.
• Produce accurate profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
• Own invoicing and collections from customers.
• Support Dutch tax filings and compliance.
• Keep financial models accurate and useful with leadership support.
