Jobgether is seeking a Lead Security Engineer – Vulnerability Response (Imunify360) based in Belgium to own an AI-assisted vulnerability response pipeline. You will extend WAF protections with ModSecurity/Coraza rules, write and test rules, and lead a small security team in a remote-first setting.

You will drive automation, threat analysis, and secure software delivery while collaborating with marketing and QA to publish advisories and protect customer websites against critical threats.

Formación

• 5+ years in web or application security
• Knowledge of SQLi, XSS, RCE, authentication bypass, path traversal, file upload vulnerabilities, and insecure deserialization
• Proficient in writing WAF rules (ModSecurity/SecLang, CRS)
• Regex and translation of attack patterns into rules
• Read PHP source code and analyze advisories/patches
• Strong Python for production automation pipelines
• Experience with CI/CD and automated testing
• Hands-on use of AI/LLM tools with validation
• Led security projects end-to-end with measurable impact
• Product‑oriented mindset focused on customer impact and risk
• Clear communication and calm decision-making under pressure
• English proficiency at upper-intermediate level or higher

Responsabilidades

• Own the vulnerability response pipeline end-to-end
• Expand automated WAF protection to ModSecurity and Coraza rules
• Develop and maintain ModSecurity/SecLang rules and CRS configurations
• Validate protections with automated test harnesses to minimize false positives
• Integrate AI into security workflows with validation of outputs
• Lead and mentor security analysts and manage priorities
• Measure time-to-protection, coverage of critical vulnerabilities, false positives
• Automate security advisories and collaborate with marketing on formats
• Analyze vulnerabilities and exploits to translate findings into rules
• Balance speed and precision in production environments
• Drive continuous improvement of the pipeline and tooling
