Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an experienced Estate Planning & Probate Paralegal to support U.S. attorneys. The role is fully remote, based in Belgium, with availability during U.S. business hours. You will draft documents, manage case files, and coordinate probate and trust administration activities.

Applicants should have 5+ years in the field and experience with U.S. procedures, drafting, and client communication. The position offers remote work and cross-border collaboration with a U.S. law firm.

Qualifications

• Five years of professional paralegal, lawyer, or attorney experience.
• At least two years with a U.S. estate planning and/or probate law firm.
• Experience drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, probate pleadings and filings.
• Experience working with U.S. attorneys and clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, draft, and organize estate planning documents (wills, trusts, POA, healthcare directives).
• Draft probate petitions, pleadings, notices, inventories, accountings, filings.
• Assist attorneys with probate proceedings, trust administration, and estate administration.
• Gather and organize information about estate assets, liabilities, beneficiaries, heirs, and distributions.
• Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and stakeholders for updates.
• Prepare correspondence, filing packages, and other case-related documents.
• Monitor deadlines, court dates, filing requirements, and milestones.
• Maintain accurate, well-organized digital case files and records.
