Prado is seeking a dialux designer to join its international Lighting Design team. You will translate architectural drawings into accurate lighting simulations using DIALux evo, build complete models, and manage photometric data for diverse projects across Europe, the USA and the Middle East.

You will apply strong technical knowledge in lighting design, BIM workflows, and EN/IES data, while collaborating with architects, sales teams and project managers in a fully remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in lighting design, lighting simulation or similar technical role.
• Strong expertise in DIALux evo and AutoCAD and the ability to independently build complete simulation-ready models.
• Solid understanding of professional lighting design principles and indoor/outdoor lighting applications.
• Experience with IES, LDT and other photometric data and translating into luminaire placement and calculations.
• Experience on international lighting projects is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit or BIM workflows is an advantage.
• Knowledge of lighting control systems such as DALI and dimming is a plus.
• Basic understanding of electrical layouts and technical building systems is an advantage.
• Technically accurate and detail-oriented, with a strong eye for quality and consistency.
• Fast and structured, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in an international environment.
• Able to work independently while collaborating closely with different teams and stakeholders.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Build complete architectural models in DIALux evo, translating drawings into simulation-ready environments.
• Recreate complex architectural details and ceiling profiles to reflect real projects.
• Perform professional lighting calculations for residential, retail, hospitality, office, commercial and exterior projects.
• Integrate and manage photometric data (IES, LDT, manufacturer files) within DIALux evo.
• Select and position luminaires according to project requirements and lighting concept.
• Generate professional lighting calculation reports and technical documentation for international clients.
