Verhaert On-Site Consulting is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to transform lighting concepts into manufacturable products and manage projects from design to implementation. You will design and develop custom lighting fixtures for a leading Belgian manufacturer, with a focus on integrating mechanical, electronic, and thermal considerations.

You will create 3D designs and documentation using Autodesk Inventor, manage BOMs, and coordinate with suppliers and production teams to ensure on-time

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in mechanical design or product development.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop custom lighting fixtures based on customer requirements.
• Transform aesthetic concepts into functional products with mechanical, electronic, and thermal considerations.
• Create and maintain 3D designs and technical documentation using Autodesk Inventor.
• Follow projects through development cycle, coordinating with suppliers and managing BOM.
• Collaborate with engineering, production and procurement teams to ensure project delivery.
• Optimize designs for manufacturability, quality and cost efficiency.
