Job summary

Kuwait Petroleum (Belgium) N.V. is seeking an experienced DevSecOps leader to shape and execute a secure, scalable CI/CD and API platform strategy. You will drive governance, automation, and cloud-native transformations across international teams and platforms.

The role combines hands-on platform engineering with strategic leadership, mentoring engineers and embedding security by design across the development lifecycle. Remote, international scope with a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in IT, information security, or related field.
• 8+ years in DevOps, platform engineering, or API management; 3+ years in leadership.
• Experience designing and running CI/CD with Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or ArgoCD.
• Strong knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM; GitOps and policy-as-code.
• Security-by-design across the development lifecycle and API governance.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive a DevSecOps strategy delivering secure, automated CI/CD pipelines at scale.
• Build and evolve API platforms from gateways to developer portals across teams and regions.
• Embed security into development and enforce governance for API lifecycle, versioning, throttling, and analytics.
• Lead cloud-native and microservices transformations to future-proof platform landscapes.
