Job summary

Q8Oils is seeking a DevSecOps and API Management Platform Leader to architect and govern a secure, scalable platform. You will shape the DevSecOps strategy, drive API platform evolution, and embed security across the lifecycle while guiding engineers and cross-functional teams.

You will lead cloud-native transformations, advocate for automation, and ensure governance, observability, and rapid risk response across international teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in IT or Information Security.
• 8+ years in DevOps/platform engineering.
• 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience with API platforms and security by design.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive a DevSecOps strategy delivering secure CI/CD pipelines at scale.
• Build and evolve API platforms from gateways to developer portals.
• Embed security by design in the development lifecycle.
• Set governance for API lifecycle management including versioning and analytics.
• Accelerate IaC, containerization, and orchestration to create resilient platforms.
• Monitor performance and security, act fast on risks and improve constantly.
• Lead cloud-native and microservices transformations for a future-proof platform.
• Inspire engineers, foster automation, ownership and innovation.

That’s how you make real impact.**This is you*** You bring a master’s degree in IT, Information Security, or a related field* You have 8+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or API management, including 3+ years in a leadership role* You design and run CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or ArgoCD* You work fluently with Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM, and apply GitOps and policy-as-code* You integrate security into development, from code scanning to container security and secrets management* You manage API platforms like Apigee, Kong, Azure API Management, AWS API Gateway, or MuleSoft* You understand API design, authentication (OAuth2, JWT, mTLS), and governance* You build in the cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and work with Docker, Kubernetes, and service meshes* You use observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or New Relic* You think strategically, act decisively, and communicate with impact across technical and business teams* Certifications like CKA, AWS DevOps Engineer, CISSP, or API platform certifications strengthen your profileYou take initiative, challenge ideas, and keep moving forward.
