Daikin Europe, a leading provider of HVACR solutions, is looking for a Reliability Test Engineer in Belgium. You will contribute to the development and testing of heat pumps, focusing on product quality and reliability throughout the development cycle.

You will analyse requirements, plan tests, run validation tests and review FEM simulations, collaborating with product teams to define corrective actions and report progress to management.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in engineering (preferably thermodynamics or energy systems).
• Hands-on mentality with analytical, quality-driven mindset and strong sense of responsibility.
• Strong technical interest and problem-solving mindset.
• Good understanding of analysis tools and methods.
• Team player with ability to troubleshoot challenging technical issues.
• Interest in HVACR and Green Deal initiatives.
• Willingness to manage timetables, priorities and deadlines.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).

Aufgaben

• Analyse unit requirements, functionalities and potential failure modes to determine tests and evaluation criteria.
• Determine the testing schedule autonomously while considering global planning.
• Execute validation tests (structure, reliability, performance, sound and safety) and analyse results.
• Validate and verify results of FEM simulations.
• Discuss test results with the product development team and define countermeasures, gather data, visualise and formalise the test report.
• Report development quality status to senior management in design review meetings.
