Arendt Regulatory & Consulting (ARC) is the regulatory consulting arm of Arendt, based in Luxembourg. We deliver advisory services to an international client base across funds, governance, risk, and compliance, expanding in response to evolving European and global rules.

As Regulatory Senior Consultant, you will engage with clients, perform diagnostics, support registrations, and design compliant operating models.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in finance, business administration, economics or law (M1 or M2).
• 4-5 years of experience in regulatory consulting in Luxembourg.
• Interest in AI and regulatory applications.

Responsabilités

• Assess clients' readiness to address European/international regulations through diagnostics and impact studies.
• Assist with registration and post-registration services for investment products and regulatory reporting.
• Help clients plan compliance controls using standard methodologies and tools.
• Provide strong business analysis and collaborate with clients and advisors.
• Define or amend operating models with legal and business constraints.

Arendt Regulatory & Consulting (ARC) is Arendt's dedicated regulatory consulting arm composed of diverse and experienced professionals with a strong background in regulatory and business consultancy. Our 120 experts offer regulatory consulting and advisory services and assistance to an international and sophisticated client base across multiple industries. This includes a range of services from the classic regulatory consulting, working with funds, their asset managers and asset servicers on the practical implementation of rules and regulations, to topics such as risk management, fund distribution, fund governance, and compliance of Luxembourg regulated entities. ARC responds to the growing needs of clients with a practical yet legally effective approach to regulatory change management and other regulatory matters. Given the ongoing development of our firm, we are currently recruiting: Regulatory Senior Consultant.

Your role

Your duties will be varied and may include some or all of the following, depending on your skills and aspirations, as well as on our specific needs:

• Our job consists in making our clients conform with the regulations applicable directly to them or to the services they provide: you may hence help in the assessment of clients' readiness to address and manage existing and new European or international regulations, through diagnostics, gap analysis & impact studies;
• Our clients sell their investment products all over Europe and internationally, which requires prior registration or authorization by the foreign regulators of the relevant countries of sale: you may also help by achieving compliance with this obligation and performing registration and post-registration services of such investment products, as well as guaranteeing the follow-up of regulatory reporting and publications;
• Our clients, which are all regulated entities, must ensure at all times compliance with the rules applicable to them: you may assist them to assess and plan their compliance controls according to standard methodologies and tools, ensure follow-up and provide with recommendations.
• You may provide strong business analysis in line with the regulations, working in team & collaborating with clients and their external advisors;
• You may define new or amend operating models interactively with legal and business constraints.

Your profile

• You ideally have a Master's degree in finance, business administration, economics or law (M1 or M2);
• You have a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a similar position or relevant experience in Luxembourg;
• You demonstrate a strong interest in emerging technologies, particularly Artificial Intelligence, and are keen to explore its applications within regulatory frameworks;
• You are fluent both written and oral in English and French;
• You are able to provide work of high and consistent quality, often with tight deadlines;
• You like reading and analyzing regulation;
• You are dedicated to work in a fast growing environment;
• You are seen as a proactive person with good presentation and communication skills;
• You are client driven and rigorous;
• You are skilled in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
