Job summary

Lhoist is seeking a Business Developer to join the New Business Development team in Western Europe. Based in Corbais, Belgium with substantial travel across the Benelux, you will bridge innovation with commercial execution and transform opportunities into revenue streams.

You will collaborate with Sales, Production, Supply Chain, Finance, and Legal to develop new business projects, create go-to-market strategies, and manage pilots and trials that validate commercial assumptions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years in business development, project management, or related commercial roles in industrial/construction sectors.
• Experience with construction materials, industrial minerals, or process industries is a plus.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French or other European languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess market dynamics, customer needs, and industry trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Proactively identify new business opportunities and generate leads for the Benelux region.
