The Intervention Centre in Sint-Pieters-Leeuw is primarily tasked with ensuring the continuity and integrity of the network. Our teams are available 24 hours a day to carry out all kinds of scheduled and unscheduled work on our transmission facilities, including adjustments and repairs. The Intervention Centre complies with the ISO9001 quality standard and SCC (VCA) in all its activities: welded structures, mechanical worksite, logistics and warehouse. Our Intervention Centre at our field office in Sint-Pieters-Leeuw is looking for a Recompression Leader (m/f/x).

Job purpose

You will manage recompression activities in connection with work carried out on the network.

Your responsibilities

• You will lead a coordinator and a team of technicians
• You will be responsible for recompression activities, coordinating these activities in connection with work carried out to improve and shore up the existing pipeline network
• In consultation with the relevant teams (project managers, operation and gas movement), you will help ensure that interventions are as safe, fast, effective and economical as possible
• You will be responsible for scheduling recompression activities, programming and organising the setup of facilities and the maintenance of the compressors
• You will manage the recompression teams responsible for the setup and operation of the compressors
• As a specialist, you will be able to operate the compressors yourself and closely monitor operations. You will also take charge of maintenance scheduling and repairs
• You will establish and adapt procedures
• In addition to recompression, you will also support other activities such as testing valves for operation and tightness, cleaning enclosed burners, valve tightness, etc.

About you

• You hold a bachelor’s degree and are familiar with the fields of mechanics, electrical science and electronics
• You are a real team player with excellent leadership and communication skills
• You can manage and motivate others and give them constructive feedback
• You focus on solutions and have considerable organisational skills
• You demonstrate the necessary attention to detail and effort when it comes to admin
• You are a competent user of MS Office
• You are fluent in Dutch and French, knowledge of English would be an asset
• You live no more than 60 minutes away from the Intervention Centre in Sint-Pieters-Leeuw
• You hold a category B driving licence
