Job summary

QSRP group is seeking an Accounts Receivable Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team in Belgium. The role reports to the Head of Accounting and focuses on end-to-end AR, invoicing accuracy, and collections performance across our restaurant network.

You will collaborate with franchisees, treasury, and business stakeholders to ensure accurate records and timely cash collection. Ideal candidates hold a accounting degree and have 2–5 years in AR or related fields, with strong Excel and VAT

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 2–5 years' experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, or General Accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, VAT rules and financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process customer invoices per contracts and policies.
• Ensure invoices are issued accurately and timely.
• Monitor customer accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain customer & supplier master data in the ERP system.
• Coordinate with treasury and customers to reconcile payments.
• Serve as main contact for franchisees and customers on invoicing and payments.

About the position

We are looking for a highly motivated Accounts Receivable Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team. The position is based at our Belgium Headquarters in Wilrijk and reports directly to the Head of Accounting.

As an Accounts Receivable Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, monitoring collections, maintaining customer accounts, and supporting financial reporting and month-end close activities. You will work closely with franchisees, treasury, business stakeholders, and the wider accounting team to ensure accurate financial records and strong cash collection performance.

Key Repsonsibilities:

• Prepare and process customer invoices in accordance with contractual agreements and company policies.
• Ensure invoices are issued accurately and within the agreed timelines.
• Monitor customer accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate customer & supplier master data within the ERP system.
• Coordinate with treasury and customers to reconcile payment differences.
• Act as the primary point of contact for franchisees and customers regarding invoicing and payment-related questions.
• Prepare accounts receivable aging reports.
• Escalate long-outstanding balances according to company procedures.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare supporting documentation for audits.
• Assist in bad debt provision calculations and reporting.

What do you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, finance or related field or minimum 2 - maximum 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, or General Accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, vat rules and financial processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus
• Fluency in French and Dutch
• Good knowledge of English is considered a plus
