Your Mission

As a RAMS Engineer (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety), you will be responsible for supporting and ensuring the validation of traction systems and RSC safety in Charleroi according to CENELEC standards. You will provide in-depth safety assessments and analyses leading to the development of the Safety Dossier.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Conduct safety assessments on new designs or modifications of systems, incorporating appropriate risk analyses.
• Provide RAMS support by performing analyses such as FMEA, FTA, and updating hazard registers.
• Collaborate with project managers and the System Safety and Assurance Manager to define clear objectives.
• Apply appropriate safety assurance methods to the project, ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and schedule requirements.
• Measure success through the adequacy of safety assessments, timely deliveries, and the quality of working relationships with project teams.
• Analyze feedback and technical challenges to refine solutions and share valuable insights for the documentation process.
