Médiane Benelux is seeking a System Engineer for a railway signalling and traffic control R&D team based in Charleroi, Belgium. You will contribute to analysis, definition and development of system architecture and functions for railway solutions.

The role requires an engineering degree (BAC+4/BAC+5), interest or experience in system engineering, strong English writing skills, and basic programming. French and English are mandatory for this position.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or higher in electronics, telecom, automation, electricity or similar.
• Experience or interest in system engineering and design.
• Good technical writing skills in English.
• Basic programming skills; knowledge of systems engineering methods.

Responsabilités

• Analyze, clarify and formalize needs and requirements.
• Define system architecture, functions and interfaces.
• Write and maintain system specifications.
• Ensure requirements traceability.
• Participate in design studies, technical analyses and design reviews.
• Collaborate with Safety, RAM, Software, Cybersecurity, Product and V&V teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and standardization.
