Médiane Benelux is seeking a System Engineer to support the design and specification of complex railway signalling systems. You will work in a multidisciplinary engineering environment and contribute to system modelling, requirements definition and traceability throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires engineering degree, hands-on experience with MBSE methods, and the ability to write clear technical specifications in English; knowledge of railway signaling is a strong asset.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
• Medior-level experience in systems engineering, system design or requirements management.
• Hands-on experience with system modelling methods such as UML, SysML, SADT or MBSE.
• Proven experience in writing technical specifications and managing requirement traceability.
• Background in safety-critical systems such as railway, automotive or aerospace.
• Knowledge of railway signalling systems is a strong asset.
• Analytical, rigorous and able to communicate technical information clearly and concisely.

Responsabilités

• Write and maintain clear, structured and concise system specifications in English.
• Capture, analyse and manage system requirements.
• Ensure traceability between stakeholder needs, system requirements and design elements.
• Contribute to system design and architecture activities.
• Develop and maintain system models using methods such as UML, SysML, SADT or MBSE.
• Participate in technical reviews and collaborate with software, hardware, validation and safety teams.
• Support the analysis of interfaces and functional behaviour.
• Produce high-quality engineering documentation.
